Brian Kokkila
Assistant Chief of Operations
Brian Kokkila is the Assistant Chief of Operations for the Pittsburgh Bureau of Fire (PBF). As a solution focused leader his responsibilities include suppression, fleet, and special operations, of the PBF. Brian is a graduate of the National Fire Academy’s Executive Fire Officer Program. He has earned a bachelor's degree in Fire Science and the Chief Fire Officer (CFO) and Chief Training Officer (CTO) designations. He is the Task Force Leader for the Pennsylvania Urban Search & Rescue element based in Western Pennsylvania. Brian is an emergency services instructor, delivering fire, rescue, and hazardous materials courses to responders and industrial personnel.
